DM2 Software launches CardLink 2017

DM2 Software, Inc., a leading provider of software solutions for petroleum marketers, is pleased to announce the latest release of its flagship CardLink cardlock management and billing application.  Debuting when DM2 first opened for business in 1989, CardLink is now used by more marketers to invoice CFN, Pacific Pride, Voyager and proprietary fleet fueling card transactions than any other system on the market.  In addition to the dozens of new features designed to help marketers manage multiple networks and increase their cardlock margins, this new release is also 100 percent compatible with Sage 100’s new Business Object Framework programming architecture. The new Framework architecture gives DM2 customers a choice of using the standard ProvideX or Microsoft® SQL Server data platform for their system’s database as well as the ability to use Sage’s Customizer module on all of their CardLink tables and most of their user interface menus and screens. This gives CardLink users the ability to create multiple report settings, user defined fields and tables and customizable grids. And, since all reports are now Crystal-based, every report can be easily modified to meet customers’ specific needs.

CardLink’s new Business Object Framework programming architecture is a quantum leap for our cardlock marketing customers,” said Chris Lemonier, DM2’s Vice President of Technology. “This new architecture will allow us to respond even more quickly to changes in the market while helping our customers lower their Total Cost of Ownership over the life of their system. Given the number of changes taking place due to the recent commercial fueling network consolidations, we feel this flexibility is more important than ever.

In addition to the standard features included, DM2’s new CardLink 2017 release offers an optional interface to POWERUP FLEET’s price/margin analysis service.  This interface gives cardlock marketers the ability to maximize their cardlock margins by region, customer type, volume and more. Using sophisticated algorithms, CardLink users can import POWERUP FLEET’s pricing recommendations to automatically adjust their cardlock pricing based on the margins available in the MSA’s (Metro Statistical Area) they are competing in.
